Why am I studying Japanese?

Vol. 3 - Sarah Charlton

Aitas student SarahWhile I was studying history at Harvard, I became very interested in Japanese history and literature, but I never had a change to study the language. After I graduated and moved to Toronto, I found AITAS and started studying Japanese here.

I love the small classes and friendly teachers- it's very relaxed and fun! I'm hoping to visit Japan next year, to hike the Nakasendo highway, and spend some time in Tokyo and Kyoto. After AITAS, I'm pretty sure I'll be able to talk and read my way anywhere in Japan!
