Schedule and Fees


Each of our 8-week course cycles begins in January, March, May, July or August and October. Each term has a different time schedule. Lesson dates and times are set 1 month prior to each course's start date and are based on student demand.

All other level must register by October 5 (Thur)

NOTE: Registrations are accepted on a first‐come, first‐serve basis. Sign up ahead of time and pay upfront to receive priority placement in the course of your choice.

Based on the JF scale to build upon core courses and expand vocabulary and communication skills. A culturally interactive and conversational course for daily communication.

Course Materials

  • Core course: Aitas Original Textbook, Flash Cards, materials ($30 per course)

Total Fees

  • Group Class Total is $500.00 plus HST (Tuition $420, One-Time Registration Fee $50, Materials $30)
  • *Register 3 weeks in advance and pay only $30

Important Notes

We accept payment via cheque, cash, Interac (debit card), Visa, Master Card, money order, online transfer or bank transfer.

  • All fees are in Canadian dollars.
  • Students are only required to pay this registration fee upon sign up for their first course. The registration fee is waived for all continuing students.
  • Aitas Japanese Immersion School is certified as an educational institution approved by Minister of the Human Resources and Social Development Canada, which means that you may be eligible to receive a tax credit for your course tuition payments. Click here for more information.

Once you become an Aitas student, you are entitled to many gifts and valued privileges from us that will make your learning experience even better! We enjoy welcoming new students with practical gifts and Aitas special privileges are extended to students at all levels, in an effort to show you our continued support for your Japanese education. Aitas also offers its students culture classes they can take part in (optional), and students Level 2 and higher can participate in our monthly Japanese Conversation Club to improve their communication skills.

Optimal Learning Environment

To maintain the highest quality learning experience at all times, we do not accept more than 8 students per class. Once the maximum number is reached, applications will no longer be accepted. We begin accepting applications 2 months prior to each course's start date. Since registrations are finalized on a first-come, first-serve basis, if you make the full payment for the course fee upfront you will receive priority placement in the course of your choice.
